CLASSES

ASVAC offers CPR classes for the public as well as for professional rescuers. Classes are offered the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month. Listed below are the classes, along with a brief description of the course content:

• Heartsaver AED

  • For individuals where certification is required.

  • For regular members of the public.

  • Covers:​​

    • Adult, child, and infant CPR​

    • How to help a conscious, choking victim

    • Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

• Healthcare Provider CPR

  • For the professional rescuer.​

  • Covers:

    • Adult, child, and infant CPR​

    • How to help choking victims, unconscious and conscious

    • Use of barrier devices

    • Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
